Lemon and Sardine Pate

A recipe of Mum's - my constant inspiration both in and out of the kitchen.

50 grams of melted butter
75 grams of fresh breadcrumbs
Grated juice and rind of a lemon
1 bunch of chopped fresh parsley
100g tin of sardines
Salt and Pepper

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and whizz until smooth.

Serve with toast, crackers or oatcakes (or all of the above!)
